In Nairobi on May 23, Reuters reports that the dispatch of the initial Kenyan police contingent to Haiti, tasked with spearheading an international anti-gang unit, faces postponement following the rescheduling of a planned flight from Nairobi on Tuesday, as per two informed sources. Earlier indications from U.S. officials suggested that the officers would reach Port-au-Prince by Thursday, coinciding with Kenyan President William Ruto's official visit to the White House.
