Downtown Salisbury is brimming with celebration for its annual Pride event.

SALISBURY, MD - Downtown Salisbury was filled with love today as the city celebrated Salisbury Pride around Unity Square. Pride flags adorned the streets, marking the beginning of the event with a parade at three o'clock.

This year's Pride had a '90s theme, a decade that saw significant strides for the LGBTQ+ community. PFLAG aimed to honor these milestones while paving the way for future progress in Salisbury.

Live music, vendors, and a bustling atmosphere drew attendees from near and far to commemorate Pride Month. Organized by Salisbury PFLAG, the event aimed to highlight community strength and unity annually.

Mark Delancey, Executive Director of Salisbury PFLAG, noted the event's growth each year, emphasizing the unity and support among LGBTQ+ individuals and allies:

"It's heartwarming to see LGBTQ+ individuals and allies come together to support one another," Delancey said.
