Tyla delivers a dynamic rendition of 'Jump' alongside Gunna and Skillibeng at the 2024 BET Awards, showcasing a powerful performance.

At the 2024 BET Awards, Tyla, alongside Gunna and Skillibeng, presented a striking performance. Four women creatively painted to resemble parts of a tiger lay across the cage floor, with one woman's arm painted as the swishing tail. Skillibeng kicked off the show with his memorable intro, "Original gyal, you are no replica (No)." Tyla made a dramatic entrance on a rope swing, confidently entering the cage and singing her viral lyric, "They never had a pretty girl from Joburg. See me now, and that’s what they prefurrr."

Gunna followed, delivering his verse next to an elephant statue. Skillibeng later reappeared on stage escorted by men on stilts, under which Tyla danced energetically.

Earlier this year, Tyla had to cancel her first headlining world tour and Coachella performance due to injury but has since resumed performing at events like Spotify Beach at Cannes Lions and Afro Nation Portugal. "Jump," her latest single from the self-titled debut album released in March via FAX and Epic Records, currently holds the No. 19 spot on Rhythmic Airplay and No. 3 on U.S. Afrobeats Songs (charts dated June 29).

Nominated for four awards, Tyla has already won two this evening for Best New Artist and Best International Act, with additional nods for Viewer's Choice Award for her Billboard Hot 100 hit "Water" and Best Female R&B/Pop Artist. Gunna is also nominated for three awards: Best Male Hip-Hop Artist, Album of the Year for "A Gift & A Curse," and Viewer's Choice Award for "Fukumean."
